Description

Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi was an Anatolian holy man who gave hope and inspiration to humanity. He was born in 1207 in the city of Balkh, Horasan, present day in Afghanistan and died in 1273 in Konya.

A nazar (Turkish: nazar boncuğu ) is an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye(“evil eye”, from nazar and “bead” from boncuğu). The word “nazar” is derived from the Arabic نظر, “sight” or “seeing”. It is believed that if your nazar amulet cracks or breaks, it has done its job of protecting you from some misfortune or bad luck and should be replaced!
